In the historic center of Rome, in an elegant Renaissance street, was born the Via Giulia car park.Designed with the precious contribution of associations committed to the protection of an area of the city of particular architectural and artistic value, it covers about 9000 square meters, consisting of an underground part structured as a multi-storey car park and another one above that will become a garden.

The car park is located in Via Bravaria, with access allowed from Lungotevere dei Tebaldi and Ponte Mazzini (outside the ZTL). The work regenerates a city void in a place that offers a centuries-old history that traces its origins to Renaissance Rome: Via Giulia was built to dissect medieval space and impose a sense of order on the city. In more recent times, over the course of twenty years, the road unit was destroyed by the urban plan that involved the demolition of some historic buildings to make way for an avenue from Ponte Mazzini to Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The failure to complete the action resulted in the presence of vacant land that remained unused for more than seventy years at the height of Piazza della Moretta.

To highlight the fascinating history of the place, CAM Group has developed a project that intends to enhance the Renaissance profile of the urban landscape, acting on the construction of an underground car park and planning an overlying garden. The infrastructure was built with the best and innovative construction techniques: four underground floors equipped with 290 stalls on the Lungotevere dei Sangallo, in Via Giulia, in an area of the highest value and with heavy traffic. Three floors are maintained for ingestion by the CAM Group, with automated systems that guarantee low management costs. The fourth was completely sold to private individuals, through a sale directly managed by CAM S.p.a.

The Via Giulia car park simplifies life with its spaces and its functionality. It guarantees security with 24-hour surveillance personnel 365 days a year and has an agreement with the main activities of the historic center. It also has four electric stations for recharging cars and rates and subscriptions for every need. For businesses and businesses in the area, there are promotional tickets to be purchased for their customers in order to encourage and encourage entrepreneurial initiative.
